TESTING REQUIREMENT

All new students must take a CASAS placement test in both reading and listening before attending classes. Once the registrant completes the registration form, including all required documents, and pays the registration fee, a link to schedule the test will be emailed within a few business days. If you have not received the email within a week, check your spam folder.

Students should allow 2 - 3 hours for an exam. Exams will only be offered in person. Test takers must be able to use a computer with a mouse. For those who are uncomfortable using a mouse, a limited number of touchscreen computers are available for testing, but there is no guarantee that the test taker will be able to use one of these computers. If this is necessary, please alert the test proctor. If the number of test takers requiring touchscreens exceeds the number available, some test takers may be required to reschedule.

Please do not bring children to the test. If you do so, you will be denied entry and be required to reschedule. Family members and friends may not be in the testing room while the test is in session.

If you have symptoms of Covid or have tested positive, please click "reschedule" at the bottom of your confirmation email to select another test date.
