Driver Training Classes
Warren Woods Adult & Community Education is pleased to partner with Premier Driving Academy.
Students must be 14 years, 8 months to enroll in Segment I classes.
Students must have held a Learner's Permit for at least 3 months PLUS accumulated 30 hours of driving with a licensed driver [including 2 hours of night driving] to enroll in Segment II classes.

How to Register for Classes
1. Complete online registration form. (See the sections for Segment 1 or Segment 2 for current links.)
2. Pay for the class:
- Online with credit card or debit card at Schoolpay. (Link in sections below.)
- Cash accepted at the Adult & Community Education office [Warren Woods Education Center Door #1] during business hours [8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday-Friday].
- Payment by check is not accepted.
3. Bring your birth certificate to the first class of Segment 1.
Registrations must be received by the Thursday before the first day of class. If the minimum number of students is not met, the class may be canceled with full refund. The maximum number of students per class varies. A registration is not consider complete until both the registration form is completed and payment in full has been made.
Warren Woods Adult & Community Education is located at 12900 Frazho Road, Warren. The building is west of Schoenherr on Frazho. Use Door #1 in the front of the building to access the Adult & Community Education office.
Segment 1 Schedule of Classes
To begin Segment 1 of Driver's Education in Michigan, you must:
- Be at least 14 years and 8 months old by the first day of class.
- Have permission from your parent or legal guardian.

- March 3 - 20 (Monday to Thursday) @ WWT 2:35 PM - 4:35 PM
Information about all classes:
- In-person class and final exam
- 12 Classroom sessions plus required drive time
- Minimum class size: 10 fully registered students by Thursday before first class
- Maximum class size: 20 fully registered students
Drive time is required in addition to the 24 hours (12 days) of classroom instruction.
Tentative Future 2024/25 Class Dates (subject to change):
- April 7 - 24 (M-Th)
- May 5 - 22 (M-Th)
- June 16 - July 1 (M-F @ WWACE)
Segment 2 Schedule of Classes
To begin Segment 2 of Driver's Education in Michigan, you must:
- Have held a Level 1 Learner's License (learner's permit) for at least 3 months.
- Have completed at least 30 hours of driving with an approved licensed driver who is at least 21 years old. Of those hours, 2 hours must be done at night.

- In-person class and final exam @ WWT
- 2:35 PM - 4:45 PM
- 3 Classroom sessions
- Minimum class size: 10 fully registered students by Thursday before first class
- Maximum class size: 36 fully registered students
