English as a Second Language [ESL]
General Information
The Warren Woods English As A Second Language (ESL) program teaches English language learners how to read, write, speak, and listen. Conversational skills are practiced, as well as basic computer instruction and citizenship. Students of all languages are welcome.
Classes are open to students who meet the following criteria:
- age 18 or older as of July 1, 2025,
- not currently enrolled in a K12 school, and
- resident of Macomb, Oakland, or Wayne County
Registration for the 2025-26 School Year is now closed.
Registration for Summer 2026 classes will begin in late May/early June.
All summer ESL classes are held via Zoom only. There will be no in-person classes during the summer.
